MetaSwitch inks Missouri CLEC
MetaSwitch announced that it has installed its VP3500 next-gen Class 5 switch at Missouri Telecom, a CLEC based on Monett, Mo. Missouri Telecom is using the switch to launch residential and business services including IP Centrex in Southwest Missouri. For MetaSwitch, the contact is the third publicly announced win in the past two weeks. Last week, the company said it has signed contracts to provide Class 5 replacements at Project Mutual (in Idaho) and Tri-County Telephone (in Wyoming).
