Looking for a software job? This can’t hurt

A new website for recruiters and job seekers in the software industry came online this week. Can’t vouch for it yet, but take a look. JobLink Systems is a career site serving software industry professionals. According to the company, SoftwareJobLink.com functions similar to an Internet search engine, unlike traditional job-posting sites. When a jobseeker performs a job search, he or she is searching live available position postings on software company sites. Clicking on a search result will link the jobseeker directly to the company’s job posting. The service also provides Job Alerts, an e-mail service that sends subscribers new job postings automatically. Co-founder Andrew Burger said that two-thirds of software job postings are never posted on large job boards.
