Time: Wednesday Jan 31 at 10am-10.30am

Background
Satellite bandwidth is the latest kind of commodity to have an exchange founded in London.

Bandwidth trading is a hot topic, with innovative companies like RateXchange of San Francisco, and BandX in London, having set up new exchanges for trading bandwidth over fiber.

Large companies like Enron and Williams have added their muscle to the picture, and many commentators have talked of the emergence of bandwidth as a new kind of tradeable commodity.

The London Satellite Exchange is the first to trade satellite capacity in this way.
