SAIC will deploy the iPass Corporate Access service to more than 20,000 of its own employees around the world. SAIC also will re-sell the iPass service in conjunction with its own managed service offerings in VPN, personal firewall, anti-virus and authentication.

"SAIC needed a mobility solution that not only could service our large employee population, but which would work with our existing IT infrastructure," said Joe Secker, senior vice president and business manager of SAIC’s Telecommunications Business Unit. "What we were hoping to find was a service that not only would meet our internal needs, but which would complement our client base as well."

SAIC works with enterprise customers in industries such as homeland security, energy, the environment, space, telecommunications, health care, transportation and logistics. The company also owns Telcordia Technologies.
