Infogate inks Citizens deal
Infogate Online announced that Citizens Cablevision, a subsidiary of Citizens Telephone Cooperative in Floyd, Va., has selected Infogate Online’s OnDemand IPTV platform to deploy IP video services. The carrier’s rollout will include live TV channels, video-on-demand (VOD) and pay-per-view to subscribers. Somewhat unique to the deployment is that the company will use Windows Media 9 compression for VOD and MPEG-2 for broadcast TV.
