Going the last mile with Last Mile
Last Mile Connections (LMC) will help Telcordia Technologies enhance and accelerate its National Telecommunications Alliance (NTA) solution. The NTA Alliance is a progressive solution where carriers of competitive local services work together through LMC to maximize utilization of common assets. LMC is trying to create a single, industry-owned nationwide local loop network that will someday reach 20,000 end-user buildings. Telcordia will provide operational back-office support systems as well as network and technical architecture in support of the NTA program. Last Mile Connections is headquartered in New York City and is funded by One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of Bank One.
