GN Nettest Completes Acquistion of Photonetics
The board of GN Great Nordic today approved the billion-dollar acquisition of Photonetics S.A. by its GN Nettest subsidiary, a test and measurement equipment, systems and services supplier based in Copenhage, Denmark. The addition of France-based Photonetics, a supplier of instruments for testing and measuring the performance of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) systems and components, will give GN Nettest additional technology to test high-capacity optical communication networks. GN Nettest last year also acquired PK Technologies, adding a range of all-optical network testing products.
