FCC issues LNP fact sheet for consumers
The Federal Communications Commission has posted on its consumer and government affairs web site relevant facts to guide consumers through the local number portability opportunity that begins in 17 days. Included was insight on how long the porting process is expected to take and an advisement that some consumers will have to switch handsets when they port due to incompatibility issues.
