Exodus abandons four European facilities

Bankrupt Exodus Communications has disposed of four already-closed facilities in Europe, but maintained that the majority of its operations overseas would remain open.

Specifically, the company will liquidate sites in Munich and Amsterdam, as well as two Dublin sites, none of which had been operating. Exodus assured that no customers or employees would be affected.

Exodus also announced that it has filed for reorganization of its Amsterdam operation. The filing is intended to protect it from creditors and allow it to continue operating.
