Excite@Home unloads Australian interests

Financially troubled high-speed Internet access provider Excite@Home has sold its Australian interests to joint-venture partner Optus and now will provide core broadband technologies and brand licensing to Excite@Home Australia on new terms that reflect the restructured relationship, the two companies said.
