Equant signs IP-VPN deal with Esselte

Equant has signed a five-year deal with office supplies manufacturer Esselte to provide MPLS-based IP-VPN services across four continents, replacing Esselte’s previous frame relay network supplied by AT&T. Equant said the contract was a multi-million dollar agreement, but declined to name specific dollar amounts. Equant will provide service to 50 sites in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America and supply IP dial-up remote services for 500 traveling users.
