The EMC Interoperability Support Matrices provides information on the compatibility of EMC hardware, software and networked storage solutions with multivendor products and technologies that the company has tested and certified interoperable with its information storage products.

EMC made the matrices available for faster decision making, better allocation of resources, and better service level agreements, according to Chuck Hollis, vice president of markets and products for EMC. “Customers depend on interoperability to run their business,” Hollis said.

The support matrices currently available online at www.EMC.com are Symmetrix, Celerra, CLARiiON and EDM.

EMC performs multivendor interoperability testing via its E-Lab Tested Interoperability Program, which tests items such as operating systems, switches, storage devices and databases.
