DSL.net to use Cisco T-1 equipment

DSL.net today announced it would use Cisco softswitches, routers and gateway equipment in its integrated T-1 and voice service. DSL.net will roll out the IP networks in New York City and Northern New Jersey as well as Greater Boston and parts of Connecticut, greatly expanding its integrated access footprint beyond its current metro Washington, DC, market. DSL.net also announced a major customer win last week, agreeing to connect 500 Ritz Camera photo development centers with frame relay service.
