Court: No evidence that wireless phones cause brain cancer

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit has ruled that a lower court judge acted properly when she ruled in Newman v. Motorola that researchers had failed to establish a causal link between brain cancer and cellular phones. Moreover, District Judge Catherine C. Blake had questioned the reliability of the research. The Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association said in statement that the 4th Circuit's decision "reaffirms the finding of the District Court ... that there is insufficient scientific evidence to support allegations that wireless phones cause brain cancer."
