CopperCom accepted on RUS
CopperCom announced that its CSX 1100 local exchange softswitch system has been accepted for a Rural Utilities Service listing. As part of the listing the vendor completed a trial with Lost Nation-Elwood Telephone Company, a 1100-subscriber independent telco based in Lost Nation, Iowa. During the trial, the telco migrated the majority of its customers to the CSX as part of decommissioning of a Nortel DMS-10 switch.
