Companies taking steps to re-provision Excite@Home subscribers

Even as the larger cable operators struggle with moving Excite@Home subscribers onto their networks prior to that service’s Feb. 28 shutdown, smaller operators are taking similar steps.

Antietam Cable Television, in Maryland, and Advanced Cable, in South Florida, are both migrating subscribers to their networks using Core Networks broadband provisioning and management software. In Connecticut, Eastern Cable Television has chosen Alopa Networks to transition its Excite@Home subs.
