Cogent turns up Toronto

Metro service provider Cogent Communications is heading north to Canada. Although the provider has offered service only in U.S. cities until now, today it turned up service in Toronto, Ontario.

Cogent is keeping the monthly flat rate of $1000 (Canadian) for its 100 Mbps service. It is the same cost in the U.S., so Canadians will be happy to actually not loose on the exchange rate for once, a Cogent spokeswoman said.
