Broadcom sues Intel

Chipmaker Broadcom filed a lawsuit against Intel Monday, claiming that the semiconductors Intel manufactures infringe on Broadcom’s patents.

The lawsuit, filed in a U.S. District Court in Texas, is the second between the microprocessor giant and the telecommunications chip company. Intel filed a patent suit against Broadcom-owned chip designer Altima Communications last year.
