BellSouth execs get new roles
BellSouth this week announced the appointment of Bob Blau as vice president of public policy development, a position responsible for "developing relationships and influencing views taken by third-party opinion leaders," according to a company release.

Currently BellSouth’s vice president of executive and federal regulatory affairs, Blau will be replaced in that capacity by Jon Banks, who is now the carrier’s general counsel in Washington, D.C.
Blau and Banks will assume their new roles next week, according to BellSouth.
