Atreus attracts $13 million

Service creation and activation software vendor Atreus Systems, has closed a $13 million Series C round of venture financing, thanks to new investors Meritage Private Equity Funds, SAIC Venture Capital Corporation and TELUS Ventures. They join existing investors Aliant, BDC Venture Capital, Blueprint Ventures, Mobius Venture Capital and Skypoint Capital Corporation. Atreus plans to use the investment to further develop its xAuthority product portfolio, which includes the xAuthority Service Fulfillment OSS solution for wireline and wireless service providers, and the xAuthority Identity Management and Provisioning solution for government and commercial enterprises. It also will expand its strategic alliances and global sales organization. Atreus has a strategic relationship with Telcordia Technologies, whose parent company SAIC is among the investors.
