Anritsu earns RF test case approval from Global Certification Forum

The Global Certification Forum, a partnership between network operators and terminal manufacturers that provides an independent program to ensure global interoperability of 2G and 3G mobile wireless terminals, recently approved 10 RF test cases proposed by Anritsu, bringing to 50 the number of test cases forum members, including operators and user equipment manufacturers, can use to control quality of their 3G products.

The test cases can be used to accelerate the standardized deployment of 3G devices. The GCF also approves protocol test cases, which do the same. Anritsu now has more than 80 3GPP-approved protocol test cases and more than 200 commercially available protocol conformance test cases, as defined by the GPP Terminal Conformance Specification.
