The CACSeVantage features three new components: it is Web-enabled; it allows for unlimited segmentation of details; and it now has a “one-click promise” that automates the recording of a customer’s agreement to pay.

“It keeps from alienating customers,” said Jeff Cleveland, senior principal and director of the credit risk management practice for AMS. “The customer’s server tool is on the backend, allowing [carriers] to segment population based on your own specifications.”

The CACSeVantage 3.0 has a Java 2 Enterprise platform-compliant and Corba-compliant architecture. It includes an applications server component running under UNIX on Hewlett-Packard or Sun servers that leverage an Oracle database.

The CACSeVantage sits outside the operations support system and interfaces with the billing system, Cleveland said.

The CACSeVantage 3.0 is immediately available.
