Alcatel links with Carrier Access
Alcatel, which many believe will be the biggest beneficiary of the big RBOC fiber-to-the-premises contract that will be awarded later this year, said it has completed interoperability testing with Carrier Access. The testing linked Alcatel’s 7340 fiber-to-the-user passive optical network product line and Carrier Access’ Exxtenz optical network terminal for business applications.
