Zhone debut
Zhone Technologies unveiled the Sechtor 100, a voice gateway that will allow providers to offer packet-based services without losing their investments in legacy equipment. The Sechtor provides signaling and voice media conversion between the ATM network and the Class 5 switch. Separately, Zhone also introduced an integrated access device to deliver voice and data services to small business customers.
