Xspedius, Lucent sign deal
Louisiana-based CLEC Xspedius last week inked a $200 million deal with Lucent for the purchase of voice and data equipment. Xspedius plans to deploy Lucent's DSL access concentrators, the AnyMedia access system, the 7R/E, GX 550 and CBX 500 multiservice WAN switches, the SpringTide 5000 IP service switch and the NX64000 terabit router.
