Wisor links interface with Ntegrity

Ntegrity has linked the simplicity of the Web with the antiquated, manual pre-order system. Working with Wisor Telecom, the Baltimore-based competitive local exchange carrier has integrated Bell Atlantic's Web interface with the WisorGate pre-ordering module.

Bell Atlantic created a Web interface for CLECs to pre-order services. Using a browser, Ntegrity enters the pre-orders manually for Bell Atlantic and then re-enters the data into its own operations support system.

With the new interface developed by Wisor, Ntegrity can capture the customer service records from Bell Atlantic in an electronic format and automatically enter the data into the ordering system and customer databases within its Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.

Within approximately five months, Wisor created a workaround that "scrapes" the information on the computer screen during pre-ordering and parses the data into a formatted text document. The text document is then transformed into electronic data that Ntegrity's system can understand.

"The biggest advantage for us," said Theresa Osborne, vice president of operations at Ntegrity, "is the accuracy of the information that is now entered into our customer databases and the improved efficiency." In addition to the Ntegrity integration work, Wisor recently designed a direct pre-order and order interconnection for Ameritech and OmniPlex. Ntegrity represented a different type of obstacle though.

"At Ntegrity, we did not tie into Bell Atlantic's internal processes; however, we were able to integrate a Web-based, external application with a CLEC's internal procedures. Now, Ntegrity can be more efficient," said Silvio Renzi, director of marketing for Wisor.
