What I think is this: Editorial Director Steven Titch, a heretofore unknown to me, is: corrupted by Qualcomm competitor(s), which seems unlikely; utterly naive, which seems unlikely; or extremely biased, perhaps because of some personal affront or other experience he may have suffered.

Just take a look at the key words in the second paragraph (page 25), "There is no diminishing Qualcomm's role..." and then read his conclusions beginning on page 50, "The wild card..."

"Vendors are trying to distance themselves from Qualcomm...." "Some of the enmity toward Qualcomm...." "Korean vendors have moved away from reliance on Qualcomm...." "Qualcomm has been known to battle on patent grounds." "'We don't expect to be sued by Qualcomm.'" "One can't deny Qualcomm its part.... But..."

This reader thinks that Mr. Titch is editorially diminished.
