WINfirst jumps into Canal
Denver-based fiber-to-the-home overbuilder WINfirst will use Canal+ Technologies' middleware and conditional access system on its network buildouts throughout the U.S. WINfirst will use the Canal+ system, which is based on industry standard protocols such as Java, to provide an extensive range of interactive television programs along with a comprehensive channel line-up of digital video programming, the companies said.
