Although I am sure you will receive lots of mail to the contrary, I believe you did an excellent job of contrasting the hype and reality of CDMA capabilities.
Incidentally, I am not a zealot for any of the three major technologies but simply have an interest in all three. I cover them in a course I have developed and teach for Bellcore (Wireless Interconnection), and the three technologies are also briefly covered in the Wireless Basics book I wrote for Intertec.
Keep up the good work at Telephony. I find the magazine very informative and useful in my work.
