VoiceStream, DT scale last hurdle
VoiceStream Wireless and Deutsche Telekom passed the final regulatory test. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. finished its review of the merger, deciding it would not investigate it further despite the fact the German government has a 44% stake in DT. The companies plan to close the deal by the end of May.
