Vitts closes; President wants Internet tax bans

Vitts Networks, a Manchester, N.H.-based DSL provider, shut off its network last Wednesday after a lengthy legal battle between the state PUC and creditors. The company filed for Chapter 11 protection in January, claiming $62 million in debt and weekly losses of about $500,000.
