Video codec system
The RE4220 MPEG 2 video codec system can be used in applications such as broadband terrestrial DS-3 and ATM links, education/business distance learning and satellite integrated receiver descrambler uses. The RE4220 Encoder includes three channels of NTSC/ PAL composite and SDI video input; one SMPTE 292 video output; 10 AES and 20 analog audio inputs; MP@ML, 422P@ML and MP@HL video processing; and low- and high-speed data ports. It also has DS-3/E-3, ATM and transport stream (ASI, SPI and SSI) network interfaces. Barco Communication Systems
