WHAT'S NEW ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: Uses radio frequency-based, location-aware technology for voice and data applications while working with a company's equipment and mobile carrier of choice. The platform routes calls between enterprise Wi-Fi networks and carrier cellular networks for better in-building coverage. It also integrates with an enterprise's PBX to join mobile and desk phones, giving users a single phone number and voicemail box as well as additional PBX features on the handset.

Users can buy off-deck premium mobile games, access up to half a million songs to customize as ringtones and choose from more than 25 million pieces of art for wallpaper. Users also may publish their own mobile content creations to Flickr and Revver.

WHAT IT DOES: Enables wireless operators to transition to an all-IP network.
WHAT'S NEW ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: META lets operators evolve their networks to all-IP across any media — including copper, fiber and wireless — and works with existing technologies such as ATM, DSL/Gigabit passive optical networks, IP/MPLS, Sonet and TDM. Alcatel-Lucent has initially released three cell site aggregation products as part of META: the 9500 Microwave Packet Radio, the 1850 Transport Service Switch and the 7705 Service Aggregation Router.

GetMobio works with a range of mobile devices, from feature phones to smart phones, allowing users to further personalize their own experience.
