Remote fiber test system This remote fiber test system tests fibers up to 200 kilometers from a central location. The RFTS automatically monitors a fiber network, performs tests and can detect and locate faults, breaks and other abnormalities without shutting the network down. The RFTS can test up to 48 fibers through a built-in optical time domain reflectometer that has a dynamic range over 40 dB and less than 5 meter dead zone. The OTDR is complemented by a Windows-based OS that controls the remote fiber test units. Anritsu Co.

Fixed attenuators The in-line fixed attenuators and in-line fixed patch cord attenuators are offered in single-mode 9/125 and multimode 62.5/125 or 50/125 fiber types. The attenuators are packaged in such a way as to eliminate thermal wavelength drift and allow for tight dB tolerances at different temperature cycles (-40 C to 85 C). International Fiberoptic Technologies Inc.
