Digital cross-connect system The StarDAX family of scalable digital access cross-connect systems includes four- and 11-slot models and handles access speeds from sub-rate to DS-3. The units feature a 2 Gb ATM bus, VT100 terminal interfaces, an embedded SNMP agent, event-driven cross-connect mapping and a midplane design. Redundant system manager modules and a redundant power supply are available.

The tester features function keys, soft keys, auto keys and help keys. Designed for field or R&D T-1 transmission test equipment, the MR-2000T includes four AA NiCd batteries. In energy conservation mode, it can be operated in the field continuously for 12.5 hours between charges. It costs $695.

They deliver low attenuation at all standard frequencies and are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
