Fiber optic multiplexer The TC8000X is a four- to 24-channel analog/intercom fiber optic multiplexer that supports voice bandwidths from 300 Hz to 3.4 KHz. It can be used to link voice communications devices in telecom and Scada environments. The multiplexer provides intercom and analog interfaces in four-channel increments. The intercom interface is for four-wire voice communication (handsets), and the analog interface is 600 ohm transformer-coupled. Power redundancy is standard; optical redundancy is optional.

The condenser can be set internally to the right, left, above or below the evaporator section or externally. The units provide air conditioning with a high airchange rate as well as humidity control. Sizes are available from 1 to 3 tons. All units feature automatic restart after power failure and can be connected to monitoring systems.

Counter/timer devices The 6602 family for PCI and CompactPCI/PXI computers delivers eight, 32-bit counter/timers, each with a gate, up/down and source input controlled by external or internal timing signals. Each counter can accept source inputs up to 80 MHz. The devices feature eight dedicated I/O lines, 24 shared counter/timer lines and digital debouncing filters and conditioning for quadrature encoder inputs.

Remote power system The modular H130R 3200/9600 CO remote power system is for use in digital subscriber loops, fiber-to-the-curb systems and narrowband/broadband applications. The rack-mounted system is fully configurable system and can be installed with either new or existing rectifiers and batteries. This can be achieved by providing separate shelves for rectifiers, converter and the controller. The RPS can be configured to accept up to three systems in parallel, delivering up to 9600 W.

Aluminum write-on tags These write-on tags are made with an aluminum facing that is bonded to a plastic core. The tags can be embossed with any pencil or ball-point pen. The tags may be used for any severe service application and are available in two sizes: 0.75 x 3 in. and 0.375 x 0.125 in.

Leaded metal oxide varistors The SMD PV series of metal oxide varistors has an operating range from 11 to 300 Vrms with surge currents ranging from 100 to 1200 A. The units are encapsulated in thermoplastic material meeting UL 94V-0 flammability standards. The products are available on tape and reel. The two sizes offered are equivalent to 5 and 7 mm leaded disk varistors. The units cover a range from 4 to 1355 VAC rms.

Remote alarm unit The Model 7022 remote alarm unit monitors the transmission path of the Model 7000/7500 2.4 and 5.7 GHz digital microwave units that operate in the ISM frequency band. The unit monitors up to four bistate inputs to the radio transceiver and locates and identifies faults of a specific transmission path within a radio system link. It is connected to the radio transceiver via an RS-232 port.

Fiber housing The FibrBoss CB-1 is a securable, environmentally sealed customer premises box that can store loose fiber connections and houses up to 48 fiber splices and 24 fiber connections on a patch panel. Fibers can be spliced, protected and then stored on a series of hinging trays, which enable the installer to locate, isolate and work on an individual tray without interrupting service on other trays. The box can contain up to four splicing trays each with a 12-fiber capacity. It is flame-resistant and UL-approved.

Monitoring and control functions are offered through local terminal access from an RS-232 port and through LAN and modem connections for remote access.
