Network access system

The BypaSS7 SS7-enabled network access system bypasses the end office switch by enabling carriers to connect ISPs to the public network via inter machine trunks rather than PRIs. It combines one or more NAS with an SS7 signaling gateway. The system uses 56K/ISDN cards and can accommodate up to 96 remote access sessions per server that originate from any combination of V.90-compatible modem or 64 kb/s basic rate ISDN CPE. The SS7 signaling gateway can handle 115 calls per second. Prices start at less than $300,000. Ariel www.ariel.com
