ObjectStream Inc. said that Fujitsu Network Communications is using its Object Mediator Rosetta multivendor network element translation solution to develop the company's next generation element management system. Also, ObjectStream announced that Mediator now supports SNMP-based element management.

Lumos Technologies has launched immediate commercial availability of its CORBA-based Leap EAS server, which uses Iona's OrbixWeb object distribution environment. The Leap EAS covers CORBA-to-TL1 management system translation.

Hekimian Laboratories' REACT 2001 remote access and test OSS product can now control test and performance monitoring functions of Lucent and Northern Telecom switches to conduct ISDN testing. The Switch Access/ISDN Testing Module gives carrier technicians basic rate and primary rate ISDN circuit access for more centralized testing.

Crosskeys Systems unveiled plans for Release 2.0 of its Resolve service management solution, which will support service level agreements with new features, including increased service integration, universal service components, variable SLA thresholds, CORBA interfacing for trouble ticketing and Internet-based reports.

ISR Global Telecom demonstrated its Manager Application Solution Kit, which compiles topology, network element and component views automatically linked with TMN management information bases. This reduces the cost and complexity of TMN applications development.
