Medical TV loses space
WebMD has backed away from its strategic partnership with News Corp. and exited the CATV space. The Internet health information service, undergoing a restructuring to improve profitability, gave back News Corp.'s 50% stake in the jointly owned CATV network, The Health Network. News Corp. returned its 50% stake in an international health information joint venture to WebMD.
