Despite collapsing global capital markets and souring economies, TeleGeography in its annual study of the industry found international voice traffic grew 21% to 132.7 billion minutes in 2000 and is expected to jump an additional 13.6% by the end of 2001. Not bad for an industry that is more than a 100 years old.
