LUCENT, VTC SEAL DEAL
Lucent's microelectronics group has completed the acquisition of the products and the design, marketing and sales teams of VTC. Lucent bought the Minnesota-based supplier of semiconductor components for around $100 million in cash. VTC also will receive an additional $50 million from Lucent during the next two years if it reaches certain performance goals.
