LEGAL BATTLES CONTINUE
The FCC is seeking input on a case pending before the D.C. circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. U S West had appealed the FCC's August 1998 order that incumbents must interconnect all voice and data network elements for their competitors. The court last month gave the FCC more time to work out legal definitions in the Telecom Act.
