LEAP, LUCENT EXPAND CRICKET
Leap Wireless International and Lucent Technologies have signed an agreement worth $330 million to expand Leap's subsidiary Cricket Communications across the U.S. As part of this, Lucent will provide infrastructure equipment and financing. In addition, Cricket will work with Lucent to expand its wireless network. Lucent also will supply and install CDMA network equipment and services.
