IXC, TOUCH AMERICA EXPAND FIBER
IXC Communications and Touch America have announced a fiber exchange agreement that will enable both to extend their networks. Under terms of the agreement, Touch America will acquire 580 miles of IXC's dark fiber and conduit being constructed between Denver and Salt Lake City, while IXC will acquire 1020 miles from Touch America between Denver and Dallas.
