HUGHES, WINK PAIR OFF
Hughes Network Systems will license Wink Communications' enhanced broadcasting technology for use in its set-top products. Hughes is one of the primary manufacturers for DirecTV satellite distribution services. The Wink technology will allow viewers to get program-related information via remote control while watching programs.
