High-speed cable 'un-modem'

Crystal data.link provides cable subscribers with high-speed connections to the Internet and other multimedia services without a traditional cable modem. It accommodates fully dedicated data transfer at 128 kb/s and grooms data connections before they reach the public network. It uses a standard RS-232 serial connection and protocols to communicate with off-the-shelf bridges and routers. The Crystal data.link provides subscribers with the equivalent of one or two ISDN B channels. It supports client-to LAN, LAN-to-LAN and computer-to-computer connections. Philips Broadband Networks
