FCC RELAXES RULES
The FCC has simplified the use of customer proprietary network information for commercial mobile radio service carriers, based on a forbearance and reconsideration petition filed by the CTIA and others. The commission voted to reduce restrictions on CMRS carriers' use of customer proprietary network information to market services and equipment to their own customers.
