FCC proposes changes for upcoming auction
Guidelines for upcoming C Block and F Block reauction may be altered, according to an FCC proposal released last week. Each 30 MHz C Block license would be divided into three 10 MHz licenses. In markets with more than 2.5 million people, two of these licenses will be subject to open bidding, while one will be reserved for "entrepreneur" bidders. In markets with less than 2.5 million, entrepreneur bidders will bid on two of the licenses, while open bidding will determine the other winner.
