FCC to cut costs for Native Americans

The FCC has supported the expansion of the Lifeline and Link Up programs for low-income consumers, incentives for wireless carriers to serve tribal lands and a streamlined process for carriers to receive universal service funds. Discounts on local phone bills will price service under $10 per month and as low as $1, the FCC says.
