Ericsson joins Ipsilon vendor list
Ericsson is the latest switch vendor to adopt Ipsilon Networks' Internet protocol switching solution. NEC, Hitachi, Digital Equipment Corp. and General DataComm have previously announced that they will integrate the software into their respective products.

Ericsson will license Ipsilon's IP switching software for integration into its Internet-related access and switching products. No specific product announcements have been made yet.
Ipsilon is happy to have another partner that "expands the breadth of support for Ipsilon's IP switching," said Larry Blair, the company's vice president of product management.
